This game kinda remends me of zelda 2
Thancs (:
Please can someone make that he ghost just deal damage, each time they tuch they corupt my file and i need reset the whole game
Why do ma game frezz wheen i tuch a ghost
it doesn't,
you have to shake off the ghost by mashing the directional keys.
Needs more save points.
I got to say, the ice world is pretty hardcore. but I think it's doable.
Got a lot of inspiration from Metroid on NES and that too, is hardcore.
But I understand. Though, it already released physically and everything so I will never update this game. : )
it depends how fast you beat the game.
hey i ranked ur game and 19 others here
Yeey 14th! thanks! : D
how did your game got top 2 this month bro? any tips??
Is it in the top? in which category? I don't see this game being featured by Itch.
And I didn't do anything special really, I just had some followers and I post it on social media and the MSX community.
You are a part of a "Itch.io's Top 20 Games of Jan 2024!" video on youtube. Congrats! Looking forward to play this on my MSX computers.
oh! I didn't know! that's awesome! : D
A physical version is in the works by Côté Gamers. In case you're interested.
When there is more news about it, I'll post an update here on the Phenix Corrupta page.
Yes I will buy it!
Yes Casper Congrats To you Brother
I liked the most that the game keeps traditions of old SEGA games, like clanky controls and saving by code.
Also it looks like a good game to speedrun.
Thanks! but it's MSX though. But both the Sega Master System and MSX2 used the same CPU. : )
This game is fire!
what's the password in the beginning? I can't figure it out :'(
the password is a save system.
only use it when you have a password. Otherwise just do "new game".
When you pass a savepoint, write down or make a picture of your password you get, this you can use if you quit and and want to continue where you stopped. Remember, everytime you save, it'll be a different password. At the end of the game, there is a chance to get 1 of the 3 secret passwords.
I hope this helps!
Just stumbled across this on Twitter, and love it! Reminds me of Jill of the Jungle a little. Keep up the great work!
Quite possible that seeing Vinyl Goddess back when I was a kid influenced me for this game. (which is basically Jill in the Jungle's spiritual successor or something)
I did a speedrun with glitches
your game speed seems sometimes a little faster than usual.
not sure if that's just the recording or something else.
the trick you did at 7:00 is pretty amazing XD
Probably because of my browser. I'll definitely try the emulator if I do another run. Really fun game btw XD
I'm glad you like it! : D
Good game
I feel like there should be more healing drops, but maybe I just need to get good.
I can't wait for what awaits us, and this game is so much fun
alisa meu Phoenix/10
Olha, meu desenho de foto de perfil 👀
add jiggle
I did it! I got a B rank AND the ending in which Phenix comes back to life in a morgue!
How do you get different endings, by the way? Are they based upon the speed in which I complete the game?
yes! it's all about the speed : )
Where's the ending I ended up at in the "slowest to fastest" category? Since it was my first playthrough, I expected it to be the "worst" ending.
it's the middle ending actually : )
Show post...
nice! I quit after the red key. needs more savepoint
This is cool, but I always have trouble wrapping my brain around games with a set jump height. Still it plays pretty well in the browser and the pixel art/music/etc is nice.
no idea where to go.
left is spikes, past the spikes 2 flames that you cant jump over. to the right talkative demon guy, then room with coktail way too high up to reach.
room beneath vines i cant destroy cause i have no means of attack, already couldnt do anything to the demon guy because ofthat.
im confused
nevermind, those werent death pits after all...
there you go XD
I want to say this, i didn't play alisa yet, but i must say i'm hyped to purchase it and play it so much, and playing this game, makes me realize you'd have talent and skills to keep going and make more good games. Keep going
thank you very much for believing in me! : D
Okay, why did you think it was a good idea to put spikes
in the pre-boss area, where I was supposed to HEAL??there are no bosses
Sorry, I thought there was gonna be a boss in the next room...
The game IS the boss. :)
damn right comrade
